Moon Do-yeop, aiming for 2nd consecutive win at KPGA ‘iM Bank Open’

The ‘iM Bank Open’, which celebrates its 7th anniversary this year, will be held from the 21st to the 24th at the Pami Hills CC East Course (par 71, 7,194 yards) in Chilgok-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do.

The name of the competition, which was held as DGB Financial Group Open until last year, was changed to ‘iMBank Open’ starting this year. The winner of this competition will be awarded a two-year tour seed and 1,000 Genesis Points.

Do-Yeop Moon recorded a final total of 263 strokes last year, 21 under par, and won the championship after an overtime match. Moon Do-yeop is currently ranked 28th in Genesis points and 38th in Genesis money rankings.

Moon Do-yeop said, “I always feel energized when I play with a lot of support from galleries in Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions. I want to achieve good results in front of many galleries this year as well. I look forward to strong support from galleries this year as well. The iM Bank Open is the first KPGA Korean Tour tournament of the season taking place in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions. Players from Daegu and Gyeongbuk aim to win in their hometown.
