Jeonbuk scored the first goal of the game. In the 30th minute, Lee Jun-ho attempted a penetrating pass and Han Kyowon caught it, sliding it in with the outside of his right foot to split the goal.

After celebrating the first goal, Daegu quickly turned the game around. In the 34th minute, Vasellus quickly entered the box after exchanging balls with Hong Chul and made an exquisite pass to Edgar. Edgar made no mistake in finishing.

After struggling against Daegu’s strong attack in the first half, Jeonbuk gradually gained momentum in the second half. They took advantage of Daegu’s defenses. Daegu lost focus in the 43rd minute when they substituted Lee Geun-ho for Go Jae-hyun, and Jeonbuk quickly counterattacked.

On the counterattack, Moon Sun-min passed to Ahn Hyun-beom, who caught the ball in the box and was tripped by Beltola, resulting in a penalty kick. Gustavo stepped up to take the spot kick and made it 2-1 with an accurate shot, which turned out to be the final goal. Jeonbuk remained focused until the end and earned three valuable points.
