Gangneung Jeil-go (Gangwon FC U-18)’s Yang Min-hyuk has been named to the U-17 World Cup roster.
The Korea Football Association on Thursday announced the 21-man roster for the U-17 national team that will compete at the tournament, which will be held in Indonesia next month from June 10 to December 2. Yang Min-hyuk was named to the roster as a midfielder. After playing a cracking role at the U-17 Asian Cup in June, where he led South Korea to a runner-up finish with his flashy dribbling and excellent passing ability, he will be a key part of the squad at the World Cup.스포츠토토
South Korea, led by Byun Sung-hwan, will compete in Group E alongside France, the United States, and Burkina Faso. The team will open the tournament next month against the United States on Nov. 12, followed by France on Nov. 15 and Burkina Faso on Nov. 18. South Korea will be making their seventh appearance at the tournament, with their previous quarterfinal appearances coming in 1987, 2009 and 2019.
