Ko Young-pyo (KT), who is expected to start Game 1 of the Korean Series, will miss the media day.
The KBO announced that pitcher Ko Young-pyo, who was scheduled to represent KT at the media day for the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO Korean Series on June 6 at 2 p.m. at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul, will not be able to attend due to his pre-game training schedule. Pitcher Park Young-hyun will attend in his place.
Ko is expected to start Game 1 on Sunday. In Game 3 of the playoffs on April 2 in Changwon, he shut down the NC bats with six innings of three-hit ball with two walks and five strikeouts, setting the stage for KT’s third straight reverse sweep after two straight losses.
He’s been weak against LG this year, going 0-2 with a 7.36 ERA in four games. However, he is a pitcher with big game experience and is a homegrown ace that KT can count on.
Meanwhile, the media day on the 6th will be attended by LG’s Yeom Kyung-yup, Oh Ji-hwan, and Lim Chan-kyu. KT will have Lee Kang-cheol, Ko Young-pyo, and Park Kyung-soo.
The managers and players of both teams will be on stage at the media day to express their determination for the Korean Series and answer questions from the media. 캡틴토토 주소
In addition to the media Q&A, there will also be a special time for fans to submit questions to the managers and players of both teams through the KBO’s official Instagram account. Winners will receive prizes and have the opportunity to hear the players’ answers in person at the media day. For more information on how to participate in the event, visit the KBO’s official Instagram account.
The 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO Korean Series Media Day will be broadcast live on KBSN SPORTS, MBC SPORTS+, SBS SPORTS, SPOTV 1,2, and on wired and wireless platforms Naver, Daum (Kakao TV), TVING, Wavve, and Spoki.
