We know from personal experience that family law problems can wreak havoc on your life, and we will do everything it takes to protect your peace of mind.
The law firm of Rick Dane Moore and Associates has over thirty years’ experience in family and domestic law matters. Each member of this firm has personally experienced a divorce or custody battle, and we understand what our clients need, not only from the law, but in their lives. Our focus is on making this as easy as possible for you and on making sure that you and your family are protected and taken care of. Everyone who works for our firm is a licensed attorney, and all of us are available to answer your questions. We work together to make sure that our work for you is done correctly and quickly, and work to save you money while making sure that your rights are protected. Mr. Moore supervises and oversees the work of everyone at this firm. When you hire Moore & Associates, you don’t have just one lawyer working for you, you have a legal team prepared to represent you and your needs. Cases aren’t assigned to one attorney or the other, and all of us work on every case to be sure that our clients are always represented and that no aspect of your case is overlooked.
We offer a free fifteen-minute consultation by telephone. When you call our office, or when we call you, you will be speaking to a lawyer. You won’t be screened or asked to explain your case to a secretary or legal assistant and then have to explain again when you get an attorney on the phone. From the minute we answer the phone, you are speaking to an attorney who can immediately begin working with you to help solve your problems. If there is some reason why we are not able to answer the phone, we also communicate with our clients by e-mail so that we are able to answer any questions or concerns you might have.
After you have retained our firm, we prefer to communicate with our clients by e-mail when possible. This gives us the opportunity to answer your questions in “real time” and helps to stop any miscommunication that can occur by telephone. It ensures that we are all on the same page, and that both you and we understand what needs to be done and what is happening. We are available by e-mail to answer your questions, and will get you the answers you need.
We also ask you to write a short narrative for us before you come to our office to meet with us. This helps us to represent you by giving us your story, in your own words, written down. We use your words and your recollections to draft any legal documents that we need to file with the Court. This helps to ensure that we are telling the Court, in your words, what happened to you. It also saves you time and money, because we have your words written down right in front of us, and we don’t have to keep calling you to ask for more information. Anything that we draft for you, whether it’s a letter to another attorney or documents for the Court, will be sent to you to review beforehand. Again, this helps you to know that we are working for you, and helps to be sure that anything we send out is truly a representation of your position and your story. We will also send you copies of anything we receive, whether it’s a letter from another attorney, a court document, or an order of the Court. This way, you can stay on top of your case and can assist us in answering anything that is sent by the other people involved in your case. Again, this saves you money and helps you to know what is going on and to be in control of your case.
When you first contact us, we will send you a contract and information form for you to review and fill out. That way, when we talk to you, we will be able to discuss with you the payments you will be expected to make and you will be able to ask us any questions that you might have about the contract. We make payment arrangements with our clients, because we know that not everyone has extra money to spend on a lawyer, and we know how important it is to get your life and your family on track.
After we’ve consulted with you by phone, we will schedule a time for you to come in and talk to our whole team. That’s when you’ll need to have your narrative prepared, and bring it with you. We’ll all sit down and talk with you, and go over the narrative and make notes to be sure that we have all of the information that we need from you. You will walk out of our office that first day knowing our strategy and knowing exactly what documents we will be preparing and what steps we need to take to help you. We will update you with each new development, and will make sure that you are always informed as to what is going on and able to make the decisions. Ultimately, decisions about what we do in any situation are up to our clients, and we strive to be sure that our clients are well-informed and able to make the best decisions possible.
We are focused on saving our clients money and offering the best legal services. We don’t have a Main Street office, or a big staff of secretaries and assistants. We don’t allow walk-in visits from strangers off the street, and this means that we have the time to focus on our clients and on our work without interruptions. We are able to meet with clients outside of the office or outside of normal business hours, and we travel to all parts of Oklahoma to represent our clients.
